Filzmoos has to be one of Salzburgerland’s, if not Austria’s, prettiest villages. The village and area is popular in both winter and summer. In winter it has its own slopes and ski area (approx 35 kms) which is part of the Sport Welt area. While in Summer it’s even more popular; it’s got a picture post card village centre, with some renowned restaurants; but its appeal is that it’s set in a magnificent backdrop of mountains, a lake and streams. Filzmoos is only approx 15 mins drive from Flachau, but it will be very difficult for you to leave!
