This area is rightly called “Austria’s Greatest Ski Paradise”. It has the world’s largest ski area on a single lift pass offering a massive >850kms of piste, 360 lifts, 270 slopes, with 25 resorts and 5 ski areas. For many British skiers this is ‘uncharted’ domain, as most of these resorts (except Schladming) are mainly ignored by the major UK ski holiday operators. (As an experienced skier of >20 years, I can assure you that these mountains offer the greatest variation of skiing in the world. Don’t take my word for it, try it for yourself, you won’t be disappointed!)
