Now is the time to enjoy swimming in the clear fresh waters of the nearby lakes. There are 2 swimming lakes in Flachau, and there’s plenty of boat and canoe hire, and of course plenty of sun beds for those of you who prefer to sun bathe. Each of the lakes has beach side restaurants and snack bars.
Alternatively take the children into the super water park of WasserWelt (Water World) in nearby Wagrain. There’s whole range of slides, tunnels and shuts for the kids (and adults) to enjoy.
