The Gastein valley is an extensive and snow sure ski area, with lots of varied slopes, very long runs and lots of off-piste options. It has 4 very different centres: the ‘old world’ spa town of Bad Gastein, the spacious spa village of Bad Hofgastein, the spartan hamlet of SportsGastein and then to the rustic village of Dorfgastein (which takes you into Grossarl-Dorfgastein sector).
